A Little About Me
Outside of the therapy office, I'm a wife, a mom to teenagers, and someone who understands how quickly life can become full. Between family, work, responsibilities, and the constant pull to keep everything moving, it's easy to lose sight of your own needs and the relationships that matter most.
I hold a MA in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University with an emphasis on marriage, couples, and families. I am an attachment-based Licensed Professional Counselor who believes that meaningful change occurs when people feel seen, understood, and emotionally safe. My work is rooted in attachment theory and informed by Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), experiential therapy, and psychodynamic principles.
Many of my clients come to therapy carrying the weight of trying to be everything for everyone else. Whether you're balancing a career, living with unresolved trauma, raising a family, navigating a relationship, experiencing a life transition, or simply trying to keep up with the demands of daily life, therapy can be a place where you don't have to have it all together. My hope is to offer a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with yourself and the people you love.
My work is grounded in the understanding that our relationships shape how we view ourselves, others, and the world around us. When those relationships have been marked by hurt, inconsistency, loss, or disconnection, we often develop patterns that once protected us but now leave us feeling stuck.
Therapy provides an opportunity to understand these patterns, make sense of your emotional experiences, and create new ways of relating that foster greater security, confidence, and connection.
I help clients identify the patterns that keep them feeling stuck and create new experiences that foster healing, connection, and growth.
Together, we'll move beyond simply managing symptoms and work toward understanding the emotions, needs, and experiences underneath them.
